One preserving jar (approx. 500 ml)
How it's done
Oranges
Place the orange slices on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Make sure they are well spaced out.
Dry
Approx. 1 hr. in an oven preheated to 100 °C (convection). Switch off the oven, allow the orange slices to dry with the oven door open, then cool. Remove from the oven.
Fill sugar and all ingredients up to and including the vanilla with the orange slices into preserving jars, seal.
Instructions for the gift card
Pour the wine and the entire mulled wine mix into a pan, bring to just below the boil, stirring occasionally. Remove the pan from the heat, cover and leave to infuse for approx. 10 mins., heat up again, strain into cups.
Note: | The orange slices must be completely dry before the preserving jar is sealed. |
